The Manchester Fire Department is a combination department. The station is staffed 24/7/365 by career firefighters. Each of the four working groups is assigned an Officer and three Firefighters. The minimum on-duty shift strength is three Firefighters. These career Firefighters are supplemented by dedicated Call Firefighters who respond when the situation requires additional resources or when simultaneous calls occur which happen frequently. Meet your Firefighters.
The Town of Manchester is fortunate to have public safety departments that work in unison with one another. We are proud of our working relationship with the Manchester Police Department and the Manchester Harbormaster’s Office. We work with them daily to ensure the highest level of services are delivered to the citizens and visitors of Manchester.
