Busy Start to December 16th for MBTS Fire!

Between 12:04 a.m. and 7:56 a.m. today, the department responded to five requests for emergency services. During this period, we experienced two sets of simultaneous incidents, including a reported fire, which required a mutual aid ambulance for one call and automatic aid from the Town of Essex for another.

During these simultaneous incidents and the reported fire, off-duty personnel and Call Firefighters were recalled to ensure adequate staffing and continuity of operations. These responses highlight the ongoing demand for emergency services and the importance of both internal staffing flexibility and strong regional partnerships in maintaining timely, professional service to our community.

Thank you to the Manchester Police Department, North Shore Regional 911, Essex Fire, and Beauport Ambulance—without the seamless cooperation between our public safety partners, this level of response would not be possible.
