The Cape Ann community has always been strongest when neighbors come together—and now is your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
TownGreen, the City of Gloucester Office of Emergency Management, and the American Red Cross are partnering to build a local volunteer response team serving the entire Cape Ann region.
We are seeking dedicated residents who are ready to make a meaningful impact by supporting their neighbors during emergencies and times of need.
What You’ll Gain
- An engaging and accessible introduction to disaster response volunteering
- Insight into key volunteer roles such as shelter support, feeding operations, and emergency supply distribution
- Training in Red Cross humanitarian principles and compassionate response
- Opportunities to join both the Red Cross and TownGreen volunteer networks
- A clear pathway to additional training and deeper involvement
Why It Matters
Whether assisting families during a winter storm, helping neighbors recover after a flood, or simply being a reassuring presence during a local emergency, your involvement will make a real difference across Cape Ann.
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to help.
