A big thank you to Chief Parisi, Deputy Chief Prentis, and Training Coordinator Grant of Ipswich Fire for welcoming our crews to participate in Thursday night’s training evolution at the old Majestic Dragon on Route 1.
This hands-on training provided a valuable opportunity to review:
- Ventilation saw operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Roof ventilation using various techniques
- Forcible entry tactics
- Aerial operations
Training on actual structures—especially alongside our mutual aid partners—is truly invaluable. We appreciate the chance to collaborate, sharpen our skills, and strengthen the regional fire service as a team. We were able to work alongside Firefighters from Ipswich, Rowley, Wenham, Hamilton, Essex, Topsfield, Gloucester, Rockport and Lynn.
