On Sunday, Manchester Fire and Police faced off against Essex Fire and Police in a friendly public safety softball game.
While it’s always fun to take the win (go Team Manchester!), this event was really about enjoying a well-earned afternoon with our fellow first responders, friends, and families.
A tip of the hat to Firefighter Cicala, who organized the event with the help of Officer Mullins. Thanks to generous community donations, we raised over $1,400 through auction items for the family of Captain Andrew Porter, a beloved Rockport Firefighter who recently passed.
