Firefighter Michael Soucy is joining firefighters from across the Commonwealth in Westborough this week for a Trench Rescue Technician Class. While the Manchester Fire Department does not have complete capabilities for a full trench rescue operation, having trained members enables us to initiate rescue efforts while we await assistance from our regional response team, the Northeastern Massachusetts Technical Rescue Team.
