Are you familiar with the Essex County Fire Chief’s Association? This organization unites fire service professionals from Essex County and its neighboring regions, facilitating regular meetings to exchange best practices and serve as a collective voice on important issues. This morning, they hosted their Annual Legislative Breakfast, where Fire Chiefs, city leaders, and state elected officials convened to discuss the critical challenges facing the fire service, all aimed at driving meaningful change. Fire Chief James McNeilly and Select Board Member Brian Sollosy represented Manchester and were excited about participating in this significant meeting. Additionally, the Essex County Fire Chief’s Association honored the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Bureau of Forest Fire Control for their instrumental work during the brush fires that occurred this past fall.
