Manchester Fire Department Responds to Simultaneous Calls, Including a Mutual Aid Structure Fire.

On February 14th, the Manchester Fire Department responded to two concurrent incidents. One involved a medical transport to Beverly Hospital, while the other was a mutual aid call for a structure fire in Essex. Throughout these events, the department ensured that Manchester remained well-covered, thanks to the commitment of both full-time and call firefighters.

At 3:48 PM, Ambulance 1 and Ladder 1 were dispatched to a medical emergency on School Street. They arrived at the scene at 3:54 PM. Shortly after their arrival, North Shore Regional 911 issued an All-Tone alert, directing Ladder 1 to respond to a reported building fire in Essex. Ladder 1 diverted to Essex to assist with the fire along with C1. During these incidents, both full-time and call firefighters ensured that Manchester remained covered.

We are fortunate to have committed staff who drop everything at a moment’s notice to protect not only Manchester but also our neighboring communities.
