At 13:56 today, North Shore Regional 911 dispatched an ‘All Tone’ alert for a generator fire on Proctor Street located approximately 20 feet from a residence. Ladder 1, commanded by Lt. Happel, arrived on the scene to find the generator fully involved, with no extension \ to the residence. Ladder 1 deployed a 1 ¾” attack line to suppress the flames. Car 2 and C1 also responded to this incident. Manchester Fire and Police were on scene for about an hour, while Essex Fire provided station coverage during this incident.
