Manchester Fire extricates injured mountain biker from the woods.

On Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at 12:24 pm, North Shore Regional Dispatch notified the Manchester Fire and Police Departments of an injured mountain biker in the Cathedral of Pines. The initial response was Squad 2 and Ambulance 1. Upon receiving further information about the biker’s location, C1 and Beverly Engine 3 also responded to the scene. Manchester Paramedics provided advanced life support care before extricating the patient. The patient was successfully removed from the woods at 1:57 PM and transported to Beverly Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Wenham Fire provided coverage for the town with an Engine while crews were occupied. We extend our gratitude to the Manchester Police and our mutual aid partners for their assistance.
