On Tuesday, Manchester Fire’s Ladder 1, Car 2, and C 1 participated in an Active Shooter Drill organized by Hamilton Police and Fire.
These training exercises—held several times each year—ensure we remain ready to respond to the unthinkable. They allow us to test our equipment, sharpen our knowledge, and strengthen our ability to work seamlessly with neighboring departments in a coordinated, strategic manner. Most importantly, they help guarantee that we can provide the very best care when it matters most.
In addition to Manchester Police and Fire, participating agencies included:
- Hamilton Police & Fire
- Essex Police & Fire
- Wenham Police & Fire
- Ipswich Police & Fire
- Beverly Fire
- Gordon College Police
- Northshore Regional 911
- Beauport Ambulance
- Northeast Regional Ambulance
- Action Ambulance
- Massachusetts State Police
- Rehab 5
We are proud to work alongside our regional partners to ensure community safety through training, collaboration, and preparedness. We also want to recognize Gordon Conwell for allowing us to use their facilities.
